How Does The Motability Scheme Work?

Before you can get your hands on a brand new mobility scooter or power chair through the Motability Scheme, there are some eligibility criteria you’ll need to meet: 

If you have certain disability benefits; like receiving the Higher Rate Mobility Component of DLA, or having the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of PIP then you may well qualify for either a Motability scooter or a Motability powerchair.

If you think you meet these, then you simply choose a scooter or chair from our range, and the rest is covered by the Motability scheme: insurance, servicing, breakdown assistance/cover.
