This generously sized Large Sensor Mat plugs into a monitor or transmitter kit to alert carers to patients who may have fallen and require assistance. Ideal for an elderly person, someone with dementia or special needs, who is being supported at home by a carer or family member, this mat is simply placed underneath a patient who is seated in a chair or wheelchair.

The padded mat can be set to activate the alarm either when pressure is taken off, for example if the person gets up or falls out of their chair, or when pressure is applied, when the mat is stepped on.
