  • Make sure your commode is in a suitable location and easy to get too.
  • Make sure floor isn’t slippery since it could result in the commode moving.
  • Make sure the height of the commode is right for you.
  • Make sure you are comfy when using the commode and have the necessary items with you once you have finished. (Toilet paper, sanitiser etc)
  • Once finished wipe seat down and dispose of the waste properly.
  • Due to constant use, you’ll need to check your chair regularly to make sure it is still safe to be used.
